When I first read the quote above, it got me to thinking about the lessons in life. Those important lessons that I want to pass on to the kids, and have them grow up with, living them as they grow.
Passing on a legacy of kindness and compassion is something that I’m passionate about. I want to raise kind children, passionate children, confident children that aren’t afraid to sing loud and ask for what they want, to be heard. Teaching through example, through lessons and through experience is how we’re doing this.
Five important lessons that I think convey this?
1. Sing loud, Sing often.
2. Above (it’s the most well said thing I’ve read)
3. Read everything you can. Learn as much as you can and never, ever stop being curious about the world around you. As cliche as it sounds – always look on the bright side.
4. Find your passion, and don’t let anything get in your way.
5. Love is one of the most important things you’re going to find in your life and when you become a mother? The love is going to rock your world.
I want them to live this: A Tiger doesn’t lose sleep over the opinions of Sheep (Thank you Jessica)
