I was finishing up some dishes this afternoon when Violet disappeared for a few minutes. She’s on an exploring kick now where she likes to take off and explore the first floor, hide in the closets and play in the pantry. When I was finished the dishes a few minutes later I went to search for her and found her near the bathroom.
Diaper, gone. Naked. And oh, that delightful “there is poop somewhere, smell”.
So of course, I ask here where she pooped.
She points to the bathroom and in we go to the bathroom where she managed to a. get up on the toilet b. poop on it and c. get down and come back to the kitchen without getting poop all over everything.
Olivia wasn’t potty trained until her third birthday. Violet is 15 months old.
Should I order a potty online? Maybe.
I could probably save myself some effort and hand her my debit card, drop her off at Toys R Us with her sister and they can grab a potty while I grab a latte. That’s the speed it’s going at.
Apparently, Second children potty train themselves.
