The girls love to do crafts. While Olivia was hosting a crafting and cookie playdate today with one of her best friends, they were using puffy paint to make rainbows to celebrate the winter sunshine. Of course, Violet saw the paintbrushes come out and wanted to get involved.
When it comes to craft time with paints, Violet eats more of the paint than she gets on to the paper. For this reason, we brought out the yogurt and added some color so she could paint (or, have a snack).
Use 1-2 drops of regular food coloring or dip a toothpick into gel coloring and mix it into a medium sized container of yogurt. Let her play with regular paper, and get in some craft time with the older kids. No harm no foul if more ends up on her face and hands than on her masterpiece.
