Valentine’s Day is one of those times of the year that we go out and do more than a casual date night. It’s a get dressed, wear high heels sort of a deal and this year we’re heading back to Packrat Louie for the set Valentine’s Menu. When it comes to gifts, it’s something small that we’ve maybe paid a bit of attention to over the last little while, something simple and thoughtful.
It doesn’t start with flowers, because Jamie knows that I would prefer many other things to flowers. Give me cookies. Give me beauty products.
I would be happy with the Moroccan Oil Boar Bristle teasing brush. You know, if I didn’t already have it. It’s the perfect brush to get volume for those times when my hair is out of a ponytail and it’s one of my favorite brushes to brush the girls’ hair with. The short bristles aren’t going to hurt those tangles and when we’re done brushing I can create a little volume on the top for them.
I adore how easy the brush is to use. Instead of flowers, I just stumbled upon the Cat Eye brush duo from Sephora, on sale for only $9 (reg. $26) making it a perfect small gift for Valentine’s Day.
If he wanted to play it safe, he could visit a salon store and buy me this wonderful Valentine’s Day duo featuring Joico and Shiseido Perfect Mascara Full Definition to get glam hair and lashes. Featuring K-PAK Color Therapy Shampoo + K-PAK Revitaluxe, it’s never been easier to get touchable hair using luxurious formulas to create soft hair from the inside out. I’ve only had the chance to use this once, but a special someone may have stolen it to ‘condition his beard’ because apparently that’s a thing.

Dinner, wine, lovely conversation, high heels and beauty products. That’s the perfect Valentine’s Day Date out. That’s much better than flowers, right?
