Realizing that today is Olivia’s birthday and that it’s nearing the end of July, we’re in full on – get the last moment out of every waking second of the sun in the summer, as possible. That means that this weekend we’re going to cross more things off of our summer bucket list including visiting an outdoor pool and checking out a sand sculpture competition at the beach.
In the midst of all of that, I’m stashing away ideas for things that I want to do next year. Top of that list is planning a vacation to the Quebec Hot Air Balloon festival in the end of August – what a stellar way to kick off the end of summer, right? We’ll be saving up those Airmiles for flights, and finding the best deal on an RV rental to take in the full experience of the event.
Kids under ten are free to get into the festival that includes shows, entertainment for the kids and even hot air balloon rides (an extra $200). If you’re searching for something fantastic to experience; you might just want to add this festival to your list.
Balloons in every shape and size fill the sky, artisan tents and an amusement park are only some of the fun activities that you’re going to find at the festival. Five days, over 300 shows and activities and an epic family vacation.
