When it comes to searching for games that are preschool and kindergarten friendly, but that are also going to be entertaining and teach something during family game night, the choices can seem limited. Through the last few months, we’ve been trying to find games that are fun, educational and games that are going to be different than the traditional choices that you’ll find in the game aisle of your big box store (we love those too, but these games bring something new!). BBQ Blitz! It’s a burger-building bonanza! Grab your spatula and dig into this silly, burger-sliding game!. Though it’s recommended for ages 8+, we make shorter stacks with the pieces and play the traditional Jenga games to teach balance at a young age. The colorful blocks are fun to play with and it’s challenging and fun for adults too. The Jenga Tetris game can be played by our rules, or you can make up your own. Stack it high, build it wide, remove the loosest block or risk pulling out a block with a tighter fit.
