This year is Kindergarten, and that means it’s also the first year that Olivia is writing her own Christmas list. Quite the feat, she had the Mastermind Toys Gift Guide, the Target Toy book, the American Doll catalog and the her iPad to make sure she didn’t forget anything that she saw on her favorite Youtube channels. This girl is serious about her letters to Santa.
Every year, there are repeats that I see on these lists, and Furreal pets are one of those toys. Last year, miniature kittens made an appearance in the girls stockings, soft fur, tails that moved, they were one of their favorite things to play with, and Violet still carries around that tiny grey kitten.
This year, they’ve moved up their wishes to the Get up and Go Go Walkin’ Pup – because he interacts with a new friend who made its way into our house earlier this month, Pom Pom My Baby Panda.
Pom Pom (or Pan Pan, as she’s been renamed) walks. Shake the rattle in front of her and she’ll made adorable panda sounds and walk towards the girls. They feed her with the bottle, included in the play set, and listen to her make happy eating sounds. She cuddles, and her legs are poseable. The pink flower? They tell me that’s how you know she’s a girl – and when she says Mama? You can see those tiny faces light up.
If your kids little Mamas (mine are!) they’re going to be delighted that one of the 45+ phrases Pom Pom has is “Mama!”
The soft fur makes Pom Pom My Baby Panda top choice for both my girls (2 and 5) and I bet she would be a hit in your home too. You can buy it at Target, Walmart, or Amazon.ca
