You know how there’s that one brand of toys that never ceases to amaze you? When Target first opened, B. Toys was that brand. The toys were fun, educational and created from high quality, durable and toys that were played with over and over.
One of the hot toys of the year, Symphony in B features thirteen different instruments that can be placed on a platform, to adjust the sound of classical music. Six different instruments can be used in combination at one time, allowing children to create their own orchestra. When not in use, children can use the guided spots to return the piece back to the area, learning about shape fitting and colors at the same time as music.
There are fifteen full songs that can be played with, tuned and adjusted with different instruments. The songs are clear, unlike a lot of the other toys on the market that can grate on your soul. You can easily identify when instruments are added and taken away from the symphony platform – making it easier for children to learn and identify the thirteen instruments that are included in the set.
Some of my favorite kid friendly features include the fact that the instruments are so easily grasped. Violet (2) was able to grasp and hold on to them as well as Olivia (5). The toy had playability for both, with enough room for them to experiment with different sounds, while both in front of the Symphony.
The included lyric sheet will enlighten you to lyrics you thought you knew. Don’t worry though, if you’re playing with toddlers who can’t ready – you won’t be corrected just yet. Just give a quick glance through the lyrics and you’ll be on the right track in no time.
Six batteries are included with the toy, but I really appreciate the fact that you’re also given the option of an AC adapter. Symphony in B has been included in hours and hours of play time at our house, and it’s easy to see that with such a popular toy, you could go through a ton of batteries. I love the fact that we’re given the option to skip the batteries, and plug in. Another parent friendly feature? You can control the volume with the easy to adjust option – thank you B. Toys, thank you.
