Check your local Costco store for the Elephant and Piggie books. They’re only $5.79, and some of the kids’ favorite books. The last time these were available in store for just over $5, they sold fast. The last time they were available in-store we only bought two. This time, we searched through the pile of books and bought the three that we didn’t already have in our collection.
Current titles I found: Waiting is Not Easy, My New Friend is so Fun, Let’s Go For a Drive and I’m a Frog.
I found these while were grabbing watermelon, blueberries, socks and pepper from Costco this evening, during a quick trip in Sherwood Park. You can check your local store, or find a big stack of them left in the book section at Sherwood Park Costco.
What’s so fantastic about these books? I’m not sure – but the kids, they love them. The fun stories, are nonsensical and Mo Willems? Well, he’s fantastic, and one of our favorite kids authors. One of the kids’ favorite parts of these books is the fact that there’s a pigeon hiding on the inside back cover, every single time. They crack up when we reach the end of the book and there’s the pigeon. I think it’s one of their favorite parts of the book.
In case you didn’t know, he wrote the pigeon books (which I highly recommend).
