Bright and early Sunday morning I am going to be sneaking goodbye kisses from sleeping littles as I catch a flight to the North American International Auto Show with Ford Canada. From the moment that I opened the email inviting me to take part with some fantastic Canadian bloggers, excited to see what the experience would bring.
Jamie’s envious that I get to behind the blue oval and see the latest from Ford. I’m excited to meet some new faces and see what’s in store for 2015.
Maybe I’ll even get to someone about finally creating vehicle feature that includes a limo-like glass for when you’re kids are on the thirtieth version of ‘shake it off’ and you just want to have an adult conversation. Window up and bam, sanity restored.
It is the first time I’m travelling without the kids, alone – any distance more than a weekend road trip, so of course I’m going to be a wreck but I imagine that the three days will fly by, and there’s going to be lots to see and learn along the way.
You can follow along the way on Twitter and Instagram using the hashtag #FORDNAIAS and please, please share with me your best tips for carry on packing only. I’m packing light!
