This is for all of the busy Mamas, and Dads out there.
“I like the lists that you make, It reminds me that you are crazy” – Frugal Dad
I am a list-person. I wake up in the morning, and make a list. The list contains everything from the blog posts that I want to write that day, the flyer deals that I found while I was browsing in bed, anything that we need to shop for, phone calls and appointments that need to be made and the chores that I would like to get done that day.
Usually, I am quite ambitious and have a huge list for that day that I slowly cross off throughout the day. More often than not, I am adding the previous days things to the next list because the list the day before wasn’t completed.
Like I said, I am a little ambitious.
As I was spending time with a friend the other day we got to talking about these lists that we make for ourselves and how the expectations of the things that we need to get done just get higher, and higher, as time goes on.
Isn’t it time that we all gave ourselves a little slack and shaved some of the things off of our to do list?
Whether your list includes a few things, or a lot. Give yourself some slack. Stop, breathe and take the time to enjoy the now, this moment won’t happen again.
