When the weather hits minus twenty we don’t go outside. In fact, a walk to the mail box that is literally across the street and down the length of a couple of houses the toddler is in tears and screaming that she is freezing. Well, I can’t say that I don’t blame her - I’m not a huge fan of winter either. We are good until about minus ten. Then, we are indoor playground, mall-walking, arts and sensory activities inside kind of people.
So, we are always having to try new things when it comes to finding activities at-home. Cloud Dough was one of those activities. It’s an awesome way to create sand that molds together, that cleans up easy and that is all-around fun. It’s like sand, but it molds!
Easy, 2-Ingredient Cloud Dough
In a big container combine four cups of flour and 1/2 cup of baby-oil. Mix it together with your hands until the shapes are able to mold and it’s ready to go (usually about 3-4 minutes). There, store it in a sealed container and you have it for next time.
It’s an awesome way to get your hands dirty (well not really) on those freezing cold days.
