How to Make Snow Cupcakes

Lori Kids Activities

Looking for a way to get those indoor kids outside? For the past three days the response to ‘Let’s go outside (before I go insane)’ were met with screams of how it’s too cold, it’s too windy and I don’t want to go outside! Well, on day three where she just didn’t want to go outside and play I decided that I needed to find something to get her outside.

Snow cupcakes.

Mention cupcakes or baking - and she’s sold. So, a half finished package of blue sprinkles leftover from holiday cookies, pink food coloring with a measuring cup and silicon muffin tin did the trick. It got her outside.

And? Impressively it lasted for about twenty minutes while I had the time to shovel ours and our neighbor’s walkway.

Tip: Use Dark mittens. We used ones that Olivia’s cousin left behind (they’re huge) but she only has light colored mittens.
