Two Ingredient Easy Puffy Paint

Lori Kids Activities

We make a lot of the art supplies around here. Surprisingly, there are few ingredients that are needed to make something really, really cool. One of the most popular activities we’ve done this weekend is to make puffy paint. The kids really love it because they can lay it on really, really thick and it’s just fine. Leave it to dry, it stays puffy and creates a fun picture.

Two Ingredient Puffy Paint

3/4 cup shaving cream
1/4 cup white liquid glue
food coloring

Mix the shaving cream and the white glue. Separate into different small containers if you want to make different colors. Create thick layers on the paper (Make sure you use cardstock or multiple pieces of paper underneath the first sheet).

For the best results, only make enough that you are going to use in the one sitting. That way, you don’t have to store it and worry about the containers becoming sticky.

Plus, it’s a perfect activity to make for Earth day, like we did above.
