This weekend I found a $3.99 package of Moroccan themed cardstock at Michaels while we were picking up some party supplies for Olivia’s fourth birthday. It had the perfect colors, the pink, teal and yellow and was on sale for an extra 25% off. I knew that we would be able to create some fun decorations with it.

We created a bunting banner in bright colors, and found this easy printable template that I printed, secured to the cardstock with a small piece of tape, cut and draped over some baker’s twine that we had laying around from other projects.

For a ten minute project, it’s going to be perfect to add to our other decor we’ve created for the party and it’s perfect if you’re looking for a last minute something special. Plus, you can use cardstock, scrapbook paper or any other paper you have on hand.

Tip: Order a sample package of Baker’s Twine from your favorite party supply store and you’ll get about a dozen colors, a couple yards of each. Since you can wrap it back up when you’re finished with the bunting, it lasts for ages for just a few dollars.
