Nature walks are one of our favorite things to do together. Exploring the trails in our neighborhood, the urban forest, the ponds and boardwalks - there is a lot to see. Exploring becomes even more fun when the kids have the chance to learn about what they’re exploring, crossing things off of their list and creating a collection of items as they go along.

Print the free nature scavenger hunt and cut out the square. Once this has been finished you can attach it to cardstock (optional) and staple the printable to the Ziploc bag to use the things that can be collected and put into the bag.
For the things that cannot be collected, like clouds - I like to include a crayon so they can be crossed off of our list. You could do this as you go along, and use twine and tape to attach it to the bag so it doesn’t get lost - or, you could sit down at the end and do it (like Olivia prefers to do).
