Spray Park + Pizza
Today, I organized an impromptu pizza + spray park dinner picnic, perfect with the $10 pizza hut medium pizzas. Grab some friends, some pizzas and everyone can bring some extras, like watermelon, or juice and drinks. Someone can make some cranberry red wine punch and you can sit on blankets while the kids run through the water and you enjoy your local spray park. Our favorite? The Cloverbar Ranch Spray park on Jim Common Drive North in Sherwood Park.

Shop: Lovable Littles Uptown Market
Shop local boutiques + businesses in this market that’s also going to feature some gently used children items, so it’s going to be simple to find some summer stuff for the kids on a budget. It’s at the Terwilligar Community Church,1751 Town Centre Blvd, and starts at 10 am Saturday Morning.

Primavera Market
This was one of our favorite places to play when we lived downtown. I love the fact that the park is shaded and it’s fun for the kids. I don’t think Violet’s ever been so the market and shop for garden seedlings + crafts this Sunday (May 25) at 10 am. You can venture over to the Italian center for lunch, and play some more outdoors. Spring on the Square
There’s lots going on at Churchill Square if you’re looking for something to do - Giant checkers, Giant Chess, Table tennis and more. Saturday and Sunday between 11.30-8 you can come down and take advantage of the fun activities. Get the details.

Ivivva Dance Class
Every Sunday, check your local Ivivva store for free dance, yoga and other fun classes for girls. Usually there are girls and boys aged 4+ in the hour long class that focuses on something new every single week. It’s a great chance to get out into a dance class without paying the high fees that usually come with them. Locations at West Edmonton Mall and Southgate Mall.
