Getting out to a U-pick farm a couple of times this year is high on our list of 100 things that we want to do this summer in Edmonton. It’s going to be the first year that we bring the girls and it’s a great way to teach them about locally grown food, since we’ve only planted a couple of things in the garden this year.
Wondering where the best U-pick farm in Edmonton is? Here are some of the best rated farms that you can find your way to this summer, and get out there for some fresh summer produce, outside of the city.
The Berry Farm

Tip: Call to see what’s available, and the best time for Strawberries is Wednesday and Saturday mornings

Tips: Chemical free. There’s an early opening BBQ on July 27 and early ripening raspberries for picking

Already visited one on the south side … Don’t know if you have heard of it…Kozub’s u-pick farm..

I have gone to Kozub’s for years! Such a great u pick garden! Beautifully kept and wonderful produce! What do you mean it’s closing??? How sad!!
