When I first walk in the doors at Target, I am filling my hands before I even grab a basket. The dollar section rivals some of the fantastic things found at Michaels stores, or the dollar store, but more fun, cute and crafty things. The kids love the seasonal socks, and don’t leave a trip to Target without them, and like me, have developed a love of crafting.
If you’re shopping at Target over the next couple of weeks, keep your eyes open for some fantastic Valentine’s themed selections that you’ll find in the dollar section, like ribbons, colored mason jars with chalk labels, clear colored glass mason jars ($3/2) and glittered mason jars ($3) to take some of the DIY out of your Valentine’s Day. There’s colored bows, paper straws (best price!) and perler bead kits that are going to be perfect for an afternoon playdate.
I am always finding things to stash away for a future craft, a future fun lunch, a playdate or simply make a rainy or cold day just a little more whimsical for the girls. A few dollars spent on a trip to Target to pick up something forgotten from earlier in the day on the way home from dinner brings a little bit of brightness to some of the fun things we’re going to do to celebrate Valentine’s Day.
Have you snapped up anything fantastic from the Target dollar section lately?
