Quality indoor shoes that are going to last through the entire year and outdoor shoes that both Olivia and I could agree on before the all too quick transition to winter boots is going to come - that’s what we were shopping for when we entered the Shoe Company last week.
The first step? Get sized. Turns out, her feet had grown a half size over the year, so we wanted to make sure that we were choosing shoes that were comfortable, but with enough room to grow.
Then, the Negotiations. She had her ideas, I had my ideas. Though her dad had previously taught her to tie shoelaces, I wanted something that was going to be quick to put on and take off before and after school, so I used a pro-mom tip and grabbed a few pairs of indoor shoes, giving her the choice between three different pairs that met the criteria.
Next up? Savings. To celebrate Back to School, the Shoe Company has a Buy one get one 25% off promotion, making it easier to get your one stop shopping done and save a little along the way. For $80, I was able to find two pairs of high quality shoes, and that would easily stand the test of time through the year (barring a major growth spurt).
Tip: Scout out the shoes on the sale rack. If you’re anything like us and find yourself scrambling to find a pair of indoor shoes for camps and other events through the year, you might want to grab an extra pair of indoor shoes. I found a pair for $30 - half off of the original price.
Are you last-minute shopping for back to school? Check out the BOGO sale at the Shoe Company to find two pairs of shoes in one trip, because those last minute shopping trips need to be planned to be as easy as possible.
Congratulations Teresa L. You’re the winner of the contest I hosted to celebrate back school from The Shoe Company. I look forward to seeing your top picks for back to school and what you chose to buy with your prize.
Colder Weather on Your Mind?
I know, I know, I’m bringing it up - but it’s going to be here before you know it and let’s face it, those pretty little outdoor shoes are going to be replaced quickly with boots. If you need some inspiration for winter, here are a few ideas for youth girls + boys boots at the Shoe Company.
While you’re there, you can shop for you, shop for them, and find prices that aren’t going to break the bank if everyone in the family needs a new pair of boots to get through the winter months.
This post was brought to you by the Shoe Company. All opinions are my own.
