There’s something special about sitting around the campfire when you’re spending a weekend away. To get that experience a little closer to home, John Janzen Nature Center hosts family bonfires, every Thursday through July and August.
At the bonfire, you can expect family friendly activities with a new theme each night, information and games for the kids to learn and play, and the chance to meet new friends while you connect over the fire. Spend time exploring the area, check out the indoor playground (one of our favorites in the city) and explore a bit of nature that’s close enough to home to make it back to bed on time. Family bonfires take place between 7 and 8:30, every Thursday night.
