Disclosure Policy
Welcome to Frugal Edmonton Mama. It’s a personal blog maintained by me, Lori, as the sole writer. As part of where Frugal Edmonton Mama has lead me, I work with an advertising company - those are the ads that you see on the sidebar of the website. Those ads are usually relevant to the content on Frugal Edmonton Mama and are sometimes even helpful to learn about sales, contests and new products.
There are instances when I provide advertising through the form of sponsored posts, through the form of product reviews and through the form of paid insertions. Though these are compensated, they’re not influencing my opinion of the product or service. These public relation companies or businesses are simply looking for a way to get their word out about products or services - and this is a great medium to do just that.
There are instances when I will use affiliate links. This means I’m talking about something that I love, and if you choose to buy it through the link I provide I may get a small percentage of that sale. Same as above, I’m only sharing things I think are great.
When I write about products, services, events or campaigns that I have been compensated for I will give my honest opinion, provide our honest experience and balance it with a lot of other content on this site that is not sponsored.
