Sharpie + Old Plates | Customized Kids Plates

Lori Uncategorized

There are literally a handful of plates left in our old set. We have broken a ton of plates lately, and so with the plates that were left over we decided to make this great DIY version of pottery decorating at-home.
1. Find Leftover Plates

2. Use Sharpies to decorate the plates

3. Bake plates at 250 degrees for one hour - and the ink is set in enough to become a permanent design.

Use a 50% off coupon at Michaels to save money on the project. (I picked up this pack for $4.97 at Wal-Mart).

It’s recommended to hand wash these - as the dishwasher can potentially take off the designs.
