Looking for Something To Do Today? Check out the Kids Carnival and Pop-Up Drive In at Emerald Hills in #ShPk

Are you looking for something to do today with the kiddos? Come and check out the grand opening of the newest shopping center in Sherwood Park, at Emerald Hills. There are going to be fun activities starting from ten this morning - and it’s sure to be a great time.

Come down and check out the newly opened stores and enjoy an onsite carnival

charging only $1 per ride from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., with all proceeds going to

the Saffron Centre, a non-profit organization who provides therapeutic

services to victims of trauma, abuse, and sexual violence. You can also

enjoy a live band from 3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m., and later in the evening a

drive-in cinema from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. (Gates open at 7 p.m. Movie

admission cost is a donation to the Edmonton Food Bank).

The Drive in movie that is going to be featured is Men in Back III - it would be a great time to take advantage of a frugal date night. Wondering what to donate? Moms are always in need of infant formula and we are always hearing that there is never enough. Consider donating some to a mother in need - after all, we can all use a little help sometimes, right?
