What Do You Do with Your Instagram Photos? My Choice: Blurb Instagram Books

May 5th, 2013 1 Comment

If you’re following me on Instagram you see the hilarious things like Olivia making herself a dress out of painter’s tape (I don’t think she’ll do that again after removing it) and other random things, mixed in with a lot of kid pictures (I warned you, right?).

The point is that we take a lot of photos with Instagram. It’s a fun way to share and twice a year I gather the photos and make a photo book of some of the on-the-go shots where I didn’t have the camera in hand.

My favorite way to create the photo books through Instagram is through Blurb. You can get a 60 page 7×7 book for $18.99 (and add additional pages for a fee). It’s a great little memory book that goes well amongst the photo albums (that I am almost caught up on, by the way).

The pages are thick, so you don’t have to be a afraid when those less than gentle three year old hands take them on and look through the book, remembering the fun stuff you did on the go over the course of the last year. The softcover has nice gloss finish and it’s simple to make as you can log in through instagram organize the pictures from most recent onward and get the book filled automatically. You can add text to the pages and change the layout too. I found a coupon code so it cut the price in half. Sign up for emails from Blurb to get those awesome codes.

So I just made a book and it cost almost $30 with shipping, but I love the idea and am going to do a yearly one.
