Bridging the gap between the image I had in my head, and the actual situation in our fridge was easier than I thought - I just needed the right tools. For us, those tools came in the form of the newest from Frigidaire, the Custom-Flex, so when we were given the option to give it a test drive, I immediately agreed.
What’s the Frigidaire Gallery Custom Flex?
See that door? It’s configured to the space that we need right now. It’s configured to hold drinks for the kids, who have been off of school for days for sickness, milk, condiments (leftovers, like bacon + salted caramel sauce) and the extra eggs that don’t fit into the dispenser. You can get accessories like small bins, large bins and even can dispensers to customize the door in a way that works for you.
Later this weekend, when we stock up on a trip to Costco you’ll find snacks for the kids and filled juice bottles for Olivia’s lunch. You’ll find pre-prepared pitas + dough, because those little hacks make dinner + lunches easier and small bowls of fruit and vegetables, cut and washed for easy snacking can be easily reached by small hands, in one of the large bins.
If we’re hosting and need to change it up, we can add in an extra can dispenser, or choose a large bin to replace the smaller one, relocate the eggs and make some space for extra drinks. The coolest part about the refrigerator? No two doors (or fridges) are going to look the same.
Frigidaire has taken the guess work out of the fridge and has created different configurations for different lifestyles: families, entertainers, or active lifestyles. You can use the Custom-Flex website to come up with a configuration that works for your family, and there are over 100 ways to organize it. You could win your own through this Frigidaire contest.
