Road Trip EssentialsSonicare DiamondClean
Worth the $200 investment because you can not only share the Sonicare DiamondClean rush, and switch out the heads but you that ‘dentist feeling clean’? that can easily become a thing, at-home. I love, love, love this brush and the different modes, like the polish, clean, whiten and gum routine. That fancy case? It has a USB charger, so it’s perfect for on the go but it lasts us two-three weeks between charges, so it’s not like we’ll really have to use it.

Sunglasses
If I have to go outside without sunglasses, you will find me squinting the whole way out, complaining about the sun while I hold my hands over my eyes. Smart Buy Glasses knew this, and provided me with a pair of glasses to try the service. The new sunglasses arrived in three days. That means if you’re getting ready for a road trip, you can order them at the beginning of the week and have the glasses arrived for the weekend.

For weekends away where we’re going to be active, I like glasses that are going to stay on your face. High end sunglasses are going to have a higher quality lens than the $10 pair of sunglasses you’re going to find at an accessory store. Both of my favorite pairs of glasses are level 3 protection, blocking out most UV rays and protecting my eyes from the sun.

You can find designer glasses, inexpensive glasses from $38 and fast ship glasses that will get to your door just as quickly as they got to mine. Arriving with a lens cleaning kit, hard case, soft case and certificate of authenticity, it’s never been easier to shop for sunglasses.

Snacks + Juice
Almonds, oranges, a package of cookies from Costco, juice boxes, fig bars - these things are going to stop us from stopping along the way and grabbing chips, candy and other snacks that are going to be less healthy, but that can also save about twenty bucks every time we stop. Having snacks ready to hand out for the kids (and let’s face it, for me) makes road trips easier. This week, since we were pretty well stocked for food, and were going out of town this weekend I chose a few of our favorite snacks to be delivered with our order. Try Spud.ca, get $20 off of your order, with this link.

Public Myth Printed Leggings
If there is one pair of leggings that I reach for the most, it’s public myth leggings. Since we’re going to be hiking and biking this weekend, I want to be comfortable and ready to tackle adventures. These leggings are $80 but I’ve worn and washed these leggings so many times, and there is no pilling, there is no wear and they don’t stretch out. The limited sizing on the website can drive you crazy, but these look new and they haven’t faded, at all. They’re amazing. Plus - they’re so versatile, I can put on a black sweater and head out to dinner with the family, or I can wear them with a jacket and bike up a mountain.

Lifefactory Bottles
What? You’re not travelling with an infant, are you? I know that’s what you’re thinking. These bottles though, paired with caps that you can get after the fact, are perfect for filling with water and stashing in the bike trailer for the kids, or putting on our bikes. You can find them at local boutiques, or online (remember the caps are sold separately in colors, white are included with the infant bottles).

With that, we’re off. Have a great weekend everyone!
