Browsing through Michaels today, shopping for candy melts to make unicorn bark that Olivia had on her summer bucket list, I happened upon the Zoku pops - something I’ve not before seen in our local Michaels store.
Score! I’ve had these fish pops on my list of things to buy for ages - but I couldn’t justify the $29 price tag from our local Chapters store; after all, they’re just popsicle molds.
When I checked my phone for the latest Michaels coupon, I found one for 50% off and used it to bring the price of the Fish popsicle molds down to only $15 - perfectly acceptable for a summer fun splurge, and to make those fantastic lucky charms + milk popsicles that we’ve had on our list for a fun breakfast to bring along while we’re camping in the RV this summer - because breakfast is much more fun when it’s served on a stick.
The Zoku molds are worth the splurge because they’re sturdy in the popsicle holder, but the molds themselves are silicone, allowing you to easily pop out the popsicle - plus, they’re adorable. In addition to the Fish pops ($15 after the coupon) they had some fantastic single molds in store ($6 after the coupon) that would make really fun party favours for kids, stocking stuffers, and tiny gifts to make those summer days just more exciting.
At fifteen bucks it’s a great option for kids birthday gifts for friend-parties that Olivia and Violet are invited to, and stays away from the usual toy clutter that kids are bombarded with on the day of their party.
To get easy access to the coupons you can either check your receipt from a recent purchase, the app for your phone, or the website.
