Make This: 3-Ingredient, Delicious ‘Dunkaroo Dip’

Lori Cooking for Kids

Remember Dunkaroos? To me, they bring back memories of lunch - like those awesome so-dalicious candies that were lunchbox staples when we were a kid. Though they’re something that I don’t usually buy for the kids for lunch, it’s something that we make once in a while after having it at a potluck barbeque, made by a friend who always makes the most delicious, pinterest-worthy creations.

3-Ingredient Dunkaroo Dip

1 box of Funfetti Cake Mix
2 cups of vanilla yogurt
1 cup Cool Whip

To make this deliciousness, in a bowl, combine the cake mix, the yogurt and the cool whip. Mix it together until there are no lumps left in the mix. After you’ve finished mixing until smooth, refrigerate for four hours and serve with your favourite cookies for dunking. Our top choice? Teddy grahams or the WOW! gluten free snicker doodle cookies (because they’re a delicious choice).

You can take this recipe, and quarter it, so you’re not left with so-much dunkaroo dip, or you could make the whole thing and deliver it to friends (and instantly become the best neighbour on the block).

It’s a simple recipe, perfect for dipping cookies, fruit (and fingers) into. You could change up the yogurt and cool whip to fat-free options to make the recipe a little lighter, but when I’m feeding the kids, ‘fat free’ isn’t high on my list of things that I look for when it comes to what their putting in their mouth.
