How to Enjoy the Last Few Lazy Days of Summer

Lori Kids Activities

With summer upon us it will hopefully give you more time off work, a chance to relax and spend time with the family. Whilst that could lead to having days full of fun-filled activities there will also be a chance to have lazy days, which might not be as adventurous but will still be fun.

Lazy Summer Days

The obvious one is to have a movie day, bringing down the duvet and having the popcorn at the ready is another possibility, and there are many movies you can watch. Whether it is a Harry Potter marathon with the kids or a scary movie when they are not around, the possibilities are endless. Another idea would be to get onto Netflix and watch your favourite film or even a TV show. It could lead to a long day as you get hooked into watching episode after episode, but if you’ve got the time to do it then why not!

Next is a game day, and once again there are many options. Whether it is playing your mate at FIFA with a few beers or starting with your team on Football Manager on the PC, either are perfect for a lazy day. Another option, and you would only need your smartphone for this, is to try some online extra time games with Coral. They have a host of classic casino games available such as roulette, blackjack and poker as well as a multitude of online slots, some of which will be inspired by your favourite TV programmes.

Perhaps not as popular because of the technology we have available, but you could always read! Whether it is on your kindle or getting a book from the library, a day at home will allow you to really get into your favourite book, whether it is a sport stars’ autobiography or an intriguing novel.

For a more relaxing day why not enjoy a bath. With time on your hands it can give you the perfect way to spend the day relaxing and treat yourself to some well-deserved rest before getting back into the hectic day to day lifestyle.

Another choice would be to spend the day baking, yes it will involve more movement than sitting on the sofa, but it’s not too strenuous! Whether it is cakes just for yourself or for the whole family, it shouldn’t take too long and you can sit back and relax and enjoy what you have just prepared when you are done.

Overall, there are many ways to enjoy a lazy day and it is about doing what is right for you, whether it is gaming with friends or relaxing in the tub, they can make the days chilling at home as a day out packed with activities.
