If you’ve been following our Instastories, you might have noticed that we’ve been sharing some of our favourite toys for the holiday season. This week, we’re sharing toys from Hasbro - toys that you should make appear under the Christmas tree this year. As expected, Dr. Drill and Fill was a fast favourite, and an inexpensive option - but there are a few other kid-pleasing toys to place under the tree this year. Here they are:
Furreal Pets Bootsie | Don’t want to make the commitment for a for-real cat? Furreal to the rescue with Bootsie, a cat that has emotions! Kids can tap her nose twice to make her grumpy, give her treats to make her happy and cuddle with her. She responds just like a real cat and kids can discover her moods through play - making it a fun and interactive choice for children who love animals. The responsiveness of these pets is one of the reasons that they’ve got such great playability! They’re a favourite in our house.
Finding Dory Operation | The classic game is a favourite in our house. It’s a great way for kids to practice coordination and grasping, but also a fun way for even little kids to take part in family game night. The new Finding Dory theme includes popular characters from the movie and the iconic tweezers for kids to grab their favourite characters from the game board, without touching the inside. This is a classic game that’s going to stay relevant on the game shelf, regardless of the age of your children.
Trolls Toys | One of the hottest movies of the year, the toys are no different. From the Coronation Pod, to the Critter Skitter board, Trolls toys are hot this year. The sets and characters can be played with together, recreating the whole Trolls village from the movie. Our kids have spent hours pretending to be Branch and Poppy, getting ready for the coronation - and we love that the Coronation Pod is a home for all of the little pieces that are included in the set - those can be difficult to keep track of!
Dr. Drill n Fill | Play Doh has released a fun, new dentist themed set. The set Includes head, drill, tweezers, roller, toothbrush, tooth mold, accessory, instructions, and 5 cans of Play-Doh. Kids will love the battery operated drill included in the set, and the new tools that they can add to their tool kit. It’s affordable, a gift under twenty dollars and a great creative gift to put under the tree for kids over the holidays.
We love that there is a mouth included, and new toys that are different from the other Play Doh sets that we’ve got for the kids. Don’t forget to have AA batteries on hand when you open it though, they’re going to want to play with that one immediately.
