Bucket lists for travel are a popular, and for good reason. But to make it exciting, it’s got to be more than just a list on paper. This year, we’re crossing a few of the places on our bucket list, off of it. We’re going to batton down the budget and stop wasting money on the things that we don’t really need, and focus on exploring, traveling and learning with the kids (or alone). To kick it off, we’re heading to Amsterdam and Paris, in March, with Stella.
Whether it’s walking through the the casinos of Las Vegas, or even walking amidst the beautiful architecture of Paris, it’s thoughts about travel that help to stave off the winter blues, so here are fiveplaces worthy of bucket list travel.
Paris | Paris the most visited city in the world, but that doesn’t stop me wishing to join the crowds in this epicentre for romantic glamour. Exploring the streets of chic neighbourhoods like Montmartre, walking alongside the River Seine, or visiting world-famous museums like The Louvre are all part of why this is such an alluring travel destination.
Las Vegas | Although Vegas might not offer quite the same amount of sophistication as Paris, it does have some of the most luxurious casino hotels in the world - one of them even having a replica Eiffel Tower! The neon lights on The Strip are a tourist attraction in themselves, but it’s surely the table games at places like Caesar’s Palace that are Vegas’ biggest appeal. And although you can get a similar experience at Betway with their live casino poker games, there’s nothing like Las Vegas for that old-school gambling charm!
Dubai | For something completely different, I’d love to explore the exotic delights of the desert city Dubai. This magical city in the Middle East is renowned for its impressive architecture and trendy nightlight, but when it comes to shopping opportunities, the amazing malls offer some seriously glamorous shops with all manner of luxurious items to wow your friends back home!
Hong Kong | Another city that’s become synonymous with the jet-set lifestyle is Hong Kong. With massive skyscrapers that dwarf Manhattan and a cosmopolitan blend of cultures, it looks to offer something for everyone. Whether it’s taking a romantic cruise across Kowloon Harbour or visiting the nearby casino hotspot, Macau, it looks like Hong Kong could be a real winner!
Vienna | For some old-world glamour, I’d definitely book myself a trip to Vienna. The Austrian capital looks like it’s packed full of atmospheric palaces and wonderful cobbled streets that’ll make the perfect photo opportunity. In addition to this, Vienna is one of the art capitals of the world with Gustav Klimt’s The Kiss being yet another great reason to explore this beautiful and luxurious city!
