Save on Foods Now Offering Online Shopping + Fast Grocery Pickup

Lori Around Edmonton

Save on Foods is one of the places that’s closest to us in the neighbourhood, grocery wise, and one of the places that we make the most ‘quick stops’ at, if we’re not planning a trip to Costco (which we usually don’t do has often during the summer months) or there are no Airmiles promotions going on that weekend.

Save on Foods Grocery Pick up Shop Online Edmonton

It’s quick, it’s easy, and we like the quality of the produce - number one factor when it comes to determining where we shop.

The other day, after a quick shop before lunch, I noticed a sign that displayed parking for online pick up of groceries. Super, super, exciting, right? I’ve been waiting for this to come here, since Click and Collect, from Superstore, has more often than not, been a disaster.

To try it out, you can register and make an account online. Then, choose your local store and add the items that you’re looking for to your cart. One of the things that really impressed me about this process, is how streamlined and easy it is, making it simple to find the items you’re searching for - from bagels, to the delicious piri piri chicken ready to go on the grill for an easy summer dinner.

Checkout Process (and Save $10)

The checkout process is simple, you can use credit cards, or visa debit, and your card is charged at the time of pick up to allow for any adjustments that have to be made. For the first time ordering, I used the code PUEDMT to save $10 when we spent $50, making it easy to grab a few things for dinner that we needed this week, two watermelons (a staple around here) and corn syrup, to facilitate the making of a giant lollipop Olivia wanted to try since she saw it on Youtube.

It saved me a trip inside the store, can be picked up tomorrow morning - and saved me ten bucks and provides us for yet another option to have our food delivered, easily ordered online, in Edmonton - instead of spending time in the grocery store. I don’t know about you, but I would much rather browse the Farmer’s Market than the aisles of the grocery store.
