Did You Know Eye Appointments are Free?

Lori Around Edmonton

Did you know eye health appointments are covered for children from birth to the age of eighteen, annually? This means that you can take your child, once a year, to the eye doctor - for free. Recently, we booked our first appointment for Olivia - and I was pleasantly surprised when I learned it was covered by Alberta Health Care.

Public health recommends that children have their first eye exam at six months. In the case that your child does need glasses, it can be tempting to order online and take advantage of the many offers available. However, these offers aren’t always exact when it comes to the measurements being offered.
Find a location that employs a licensed optician to ensure the health of your family is top-notch. With more than six-thousand options available, it’s easy to find a licensed Optician in Edmonton and beyond.
Plus, Licensed Optician has an exciting new contest. You can head on over to the website and choose from one of the six packages that you would like to win, and that best defines your personality. Choose Wisely, because you might just be the winner.
Prize Packages Include:

  • Pair of Glasses, Canon Rebel EOS and a Mac Desktop
  • Pair of Glasses, Maid for a Day and Spa Afternoon at a 5 Star Hotel
  • Pair of Glasses, Fully Tailored Italian Suit and a Luxury Watch
  • Pair of Glasses, Bike of Your Choice, 2 Concert Tickets of Your Choice
  • Pair of Glasses, $1,000 Shopping Spree and VIP bottle service at Your Favorite Bar
  • Pair of Glasses, Sky Diving for Two and Two Tickets to a Sporting Event
